A Sprinkling Of Magic From The Fairy 🧚

GFF under Sam Twiston-Davies

After a frustrating few weeks, a winner and a second at Wincanton was just what the team needed.

The day started in perfect fashion with Good Friday Fairy hosing up in the 2 mile 4f handicap chase in the hands of Sam Twiston-Davies. With first time cheek pieces applied, GFF never missed a beat from the front jumping superbly. He quickened up 2 fences from home and the race was quickly put to bed winning by an eased down 16lengths.

GFF takes his racing well and we will look to have him out again shortly.

Risk De Pluie under Harry Kimber ran a solid race to finish 2nd in the 1mile 7f handicap chase. On his 3 chase starts this season he is yet to be out of the first 3, however we’re not quite seeing on the track what we know he’s capable of. He’s likely to go back up in trip on marginally better ground.

January was full of frustrating results. We had a few finishing in the runner up spot, however for lots of different reasons horses didn’t quite run their races on the day. But the team have been and remain in good health and we’re really looking forward to a productive last 2 1/2 months of the season with plenty of nice horses to run.
