Gallops
We are lucky to have the use of two exceptional gallops set in stunning Dorset countryside. The five furlong hill gallop steadily rises 200ft from bottom to top and has the lastest Martin Collins Gel-Track surface. The two furlong oval sand gallop is used to build core fitness, teaching the horses to relax and breathe before working their way on to using the main hill gallop. A Severn Sand surface ensures a test for the horses yet provides a stable safe footing.
The Six Horse Covered Monarch Walker
The six horse covered Monarch walker with rubber floor is a key element in the training programme. From warming the horses up to additional exercise, every horse uses the walker daily.
Schooling Facilities
A 60m X 30m wax fibresand outdoor arena houses poles, barrels, ditchboards and two double sided Easifix hurdles, so whether it’s a horses first time leaving the floor or a more intense schooling session this is the perfect environment. We also have birch chase fences and open ditch on grass along with rubber hurdles, all key in the finishing touches before race day.
Stabling
A stunning 30 box large airy barn provides a five star hotel for our equine athletes. A tack room is housed within the barn and a hot water wash off ensures all year round bathing of each house after exercise.
