Game, Set & Match…. Colours!🥇🎾⭐️

Game Colours continued a productive few days for the yard with a dominant victory in the 2 mile mares novice hurdle at Lingfield in the hands of Sean Bowen.

Colours has improved with every run this season having been placed in each of her 3 starts, latterly finishing 3rd in a £25k handicap at Fakenham on handicap debut.

We were keen to drop her to the minimum trip as she’s always shown plenty of speed at home, and we were rewarded with a career best effort winning by 17 lengths. We’ve had the £100k Herring mares final at Kelso as a target since December and that is where she will head next. She would have a live chance if the ground was on the softer side.

It was great to supply Sean with a winner to help in a small way towards his quest to be champion jockey. We wish him the best of luck.

Huge well done to her owners Baker, Cartwright & Langford. Last season we encountered a lot of issues and plenty of patience has had to be shown with Colours, but the rewards are coming thick and fast now!
